About Us

Metrology & Quality Services (MQS), established in 1995 and originally headquartered in St Albans, quickly became one of the largest UKAS Calibration Laboratories in the UK and Ireland. In 2008, MQS was acquired by Inspection Equipment Co Ltd, a significant distributor of metrology instruments with offices in Dublin, Belfast, and Chicago, USA. This acquisition enabled MQS to expand its offerings and now provide equipment from some of the world's leading manufacturers, such as Mitutoyo, TESA, Steinmeyer-FMS, MARK-10, Bowers, GV Metrology, Kroeplin, Mahr, Starrett, Planolith, and more. With a vast inventory, MQS ensures next-day delivery for their clients from their Midlands location.
